Is it acceptable or unacceptable to smack a child as a form of disapline ?

Depends...some kids you can reason with....others (like me when I was a kid) need dat ass whupped

Yeah i got my ass tore up all the time when i was a kid too with anything that was in reach

I'm with Walks on this one. Each child is gonna learn differently. And why spank a child that responds better to a verbal lashing

@impeccablesossy: my boys only get spanked as a last resort. And they've not been spanked in years.

Now days if you whip your child they call it child abuse. A couple years ago dont remember what state it was but a lady at a walmart took her child back to the car and whip it for acting up in the store they had her on camra it put it on the news and got her for child abuse. My mom wouldnt have waited to take me to the car she would have beat my ass right there lmao
