Gentleman, Sweeter is here to help y'all out! (by sweeterthejuic3)

Ok. So, even though my profile says "Not Looking" I constantly receive messages from guys; I don't really mind, it's part of being on a dating site and I usually just reiterate that I'm really, in fact, not looking. Lol

But, I'm seeing a trend of mostly younger guys who have absolutely NO GAME whatsoever! So, I'm gonna give y'all some advice and hopefully you'll put it to use. Mkay?

#1 Look at the girl's profile before you message her: This will usually give you some insight into why she's on Dating.mobi, what her interests are, if she's into drug addicts...etc.

#2 Cater your message to the girl: This can be done with the help of #1! Easy peasy. Introduce yourself, tell her you noticed that she likes to go to comedy clubs, ask her who her favorite comedian is so far. But, don't be a creeper! I get the question all the time "So, how sweet is your juice?" Beep beep...creeper alert! Just be a gentleman! Being a gentleman also includes not mentioning sex too quickly, ya pervs. ;)

#3 Don't be lazy!: Messages that just say "hey" or like the one I just got today, "you got a number?" It just shows that you don't really want to try! A little effort can go a long way!

#4 Petnames: Calling a girl "baby, love, sweetheart," in your FIRST few messages is very off putting (for some) even if it's just part of your personality. Compliment her smile, or her beautiful eyes. Stay away from petnames for a while.

#5 Dont just send your number: Chances are she won't call or text you.

#6 Don't make her be a b.itch: If she says she not interested one time, tell her thanks for the reply and move on!

#7 Take the time to use good grammar: After you're talking to someone for some time, you can get a bit sloppy because you're comfortable with them. But, in your first message, try to let your intelligence shine (if you have any) JK..kinda.

Hope maybe that helps! Go get em boys!

I totally agree!
Nothing annoys me more then a pet name from a stranger. I have a name, ask for it instead of using off putting names.

Great advice-the one word intro is one of my biggest pet peeves. If they just say 'Hi' I reply 'Hi, lol' Its like they expect me to start a conversation when they are the one who contacted me first...ugh

Your competition probably won't even read it, if that makes you feel better!
