Went to wreck when I firat joined the fire dept. Drunk guy rear ended another vehicle at high speed. Loaded him up in the back of an ambulance.....he was gagging and coughing up huge clots of blood...spraying it everywhere....Ive hunted all my life and it smelled like a gutted deer. Paramedic said it was no way he'd survive....chest was caved in by the ateering wheel...


Anyway....six weeks later, we hear he lived....was no reason for it. Btw, the lady he rear ended.....died on the scene of a broken neck......go figure.

@WalkSoftly: damn that messed up my hat off to you I have uncle who was a volunteer fireman we had no official departments around where I come from but it takes guts and to be EMT on top of that that s awesome

Seein blood and chunks of skin and hair in it all over my brothers bed, floor and wall after he was shot and killed. I lost reality for over a year from that one:( Also last year I heard the girl across hall screamin-opened my door to see paramedics givin her four month old CPR:( he did not make it and when they carried him out it was so overwhelming I thought maybe I was havin a really bad dream:( There are other things but this is gettin downright depressing:( Ima go see how drunk Walks and Donovan are lookin by now on the Redneck thread!;)lol
