Lets go fast (by TrueTexan)
Whats the highest rate of speed you have reached while behind the wheel and what were you drivin? Mine was 160 in my 1st car a 99 mustang with a 454 twin turbos and nitrous. My parents should have knwn better
@TrueTexan: not being mean but why would a Mustang have a General Motors engine in it
@donovan819: Idk man. Thats the motor that was in it when i got it. Maybe the previous own wished gm made mustangs
@donovan819: Wish i still had that car. Wrapped it round a tree. Almost cried when the wrecker hauled it off
I can identify with that; I had a 71 Ford Maverick with a boss 302..it outran all but one car in the tri-county area that was my stompin grounds. The day I rolled it was our last ride. When my spirit rejoined my body, I crawled out of the wreck and turned to look at my car. I sat down hard & cried at the sight.
@TrueTexan: yep. I still have dreams about that car. I'm not always sure if I was supposed to have survived that wreck. When I saw the mangled mess I made of it, I wished I hadn't.
@1honestman: Dam. I prolly shouldnt have made it out that mustang cause a tree at 110 tends to kill not only the car but everythin in the car. But my pride was the only part of me hurt. How fast were you goin?
@TrueTexan: idk. I had spent most of the day at the lake walking on barely submerged sandbars. My cousin said I looked like Jesus walking on the water lol. But I shouldn't have been driving at all that day. Beer & valium & fast cars don't mix. I was leaning across the seat trying to reach for a tape when I heard the tires crunching on the gravel shoulder. I snatched the wheel to the left before I could sit up, so I never saw the speedometer.
