After falling off a toilet one night last spring,
Dave Reynolds developed a glow-in-the-dark
toilet seat with a former college roommate
who had developed a gag-gift version years
earlier.

Reynolds, who moved to Lebanon this fall, and
his friend, Tim Fittler, have since created the
Night Glow toilet seat, which is the standard
white by day and transforms into a blue or
green glow by night. The seats, which went on
the market in 2013, are shipped from
Reynolds’ house each day to cities worldwide,
with orders coming through their website from
as far as the United Arab Emirates, Japan,
Germany, Italy, Australia and Malta.
