I find this retarded... I live with my parent and step dad until i get on my feet, i fell asleep with the tv on and I get b!tched at, but yet its ok for them to leave their tv's on 24/7. Whats wrong with that picture?

It may sound strange / odd /unfair to you but there are times that working people find themselves having more rights in using appliances than those who aren't working since they were the one paying the bills , they're the one fallen asleep fast while watching TV because they're tired .


That reasoning is somewhat off but then , it's a clear message - find job & live by own hence you'll have freedom .

I always set my sleep timer in my tv just incase i fall asleep

@TekTonX: I think it is because it is their place & your an adult. When I visit relatives or when I was younger & had to get back on my feet.. It allways is " my house, my rules " . And now.. I do the same thing, with relatives.... My house my rules. :)

@Zilya777: kind of obvious, cause thy have no jobs, their highly 160% lazy, i did had at least 4 job reviews, but yet, my pity step dad came with me one day, telling the manager that I have lack of skills, which isn't true. i found a job thats right for me. i was going to become a technicion for computers, by helping people who had their computer crash with blue screens and what not.

@TekTonX: Om God.. Run. When you are on your own, & call your own shots.. You can love them from a emotioal safe distance.. Nothing wrong w/that. I don't blame you. And if you can do work you love, even better ..go for it :)

Its thier house so they can do what they want... But easy solution would be to sit a sleep timer
