Thoughts of you (by Kawboy)
When someone captures your heart, and your mind is racing with all the thoughts of past heartbreaks and what ifs,how do you stay positive and give the new love interest a fair shake?
You have to let go of past love and heart breaks if u ever want a future. Its not fair to be saying "what if" while interested in someone else. What if will never happen, so thinking about it is a waste of time. Put it behind you....cuz until you do, you can never truly love another completely
I have been talking to Linda for a good while and she has yet to let me down. I have been guilty of purposely looking for negatives in a person, but why this time am I so forgiving?...the only thing I want to change is her last name....hmmm
I had a "love" that I compared everyone to. Linda is so different than her. When Kim died I thought I would forever be alone, couldnt get her out of my mind...the last 2 months,I rarely think of her.
It is hard to let go of our pasts because of the common fear of making the same mistake, but we do have to train ourselves to let go of our past and that common fear of making the same mistake.

@Kawboy: Time heals all wounds. The pain hasn't and won't go away, but in time u find a way to deal with the pain better. Linda is your way to deal....she's been sent to u for a reason. Take it and run with it. We don't find love everyday
@Briteeyes: I appreciate that. She had to be sent,as we werent looking...lol
She has always been drawn to Kentucky, and any of my friends can attest that I have been "California Dreaming" since grade school...
