Rode anyway w/o a permit....""" The co-organizer of the ride, Belinda Bee,
explained the situation this morning on Fox
and Friends, telling Brian Kilmeade that she
believes the permit was denied for political
reasons.
The city granted a permit to the American
Muslim Political Action Committee to hold a
"Million Muslim March" today, so the
motorcycle ride, called "2 Million Bikers,"
arose in response.
Bee said she believes the initial message of
the biker rally prompted the permit request to
be rejected, although she added that the
theme of the ride has since been changed.
She said the ride will go on as planned, even
though the lack of a permit means the streets
will not be blocked off and the bikers will
have to stop often to obey traffic laws.
Because of that, she said a three-hour ride
will now take six or seven hours to complete"""
