I just joined and like the concept of the site, just a tad disappointed that there are so few uk members. I'm a warm, intelligent guy who has had a hard past, but am now just looking for someone to settle down with.

Hi there :-) I've been on this site a while now and have chatted with a few guys but i think people don't have the confidence to take the step further than just chatting. i myself am shy! i hope u find what u r looking 4 tho its a well run site and easy 2 use. we've all been hurt myself included and i think we all want a life with someone who will love us 4 ourselves without wanting us to change. someone who accepts our little 'quirks' n habits lol :-)

*sigh* take 3, my mobile browser is rather good at finding the wrong time to randomly refresh. @gemolly1704: i understand completely, it seems impossible to find someone to accept me as i am, warts and all. I've never been brimming with confidence, i know why, but that's a story for another day and not publicly. My lack of confidence is evident in that all the relationships i have had have started off online. I'm as extroverted as they get around guys, but a clammed up loser when it comes to women i am attracted to, face to face at least. Way too much consistency in the rejections when it comes to 'in real life'. Ah well, here's to hoping :-)
