Does anyone communicate verbally anymore? Prime example... I started talking (texting) to a guy from Dating.mobi. Via text, he had plenty to say and was charming. After a couple of weeks, my thumbs began to cramp up and I insisted on speaking over the phone. Suddenly, this charmer became a socially awkward mute. I asked why he was quiet..he literally replied "I have time to think about what to say in a text. I can't think fast enough to answer on the phone". Seriously? I've encountered a few of these sorts. Adult men and women have been reduced to communicating on a 13 year old girl level? My thumbs aren't looking to date. I am.

Your right . Talking on the phone is way more personal than texting cuz at least you can express and hear emotion while talking . I guess some people just cant handle that :p

I do believe social skills are dying, just look at all the posts here in the forums like; "I can't find anyone here", and guys posting in the forums for women to message them. Just do it like you're supposed too! Private message the woman and see if you get a response, then start a conversation. People today want EVERYTHING given to them Right Now, instead of working for it and putting some time and effort into getting it!

@eyesdontlie: I'm glad to see someone else feels that way. I had never even sent a text until six weeks ago. It's fun but sometimes I feel retarded cuz it is so slow getting my thoughts into words.
