I used Norton for a while but got a good deal on McAfee. I loved Norton but it slows down the internet and pc a lot. I experienced engine crashes and crashes to my pc. A few friends told me McAfee is the best because it provides great protection with little hassle. Since Ive been using McAfee, I barely know it's there. And, it scans searches on the internet and everything. I think Im going to stick with it for a while. As for the others, Ive tried some of them but I had problems. They were cheaper but just did not protect my pc fully. I hope this helps a little :)

Malwarebytes beats all. Picks up everything, little to no fase positives (it just thinks serial key generators are trojans), and you can set an automatic scan/update schedule. Set it up once and you never have to touch it again.

@KeepingTime: malwarebytes is a good program but its an anti spyware not an antivirus . I have it on my computer just for extra protection but it has never detected anything wrong whenever i've scanned because my avast antivirus usually stops anything suspicious before it gets a chance to infect the computer . So to the guy that said avast was no good . You dont know what you are talking about because avast is probably the best free antivirus that you can get . It has saved saved my computer on many occasions lol
