(35 / F-M / Missouri)Is it just me or do you other ladies get annoyed at receiving a first message like hey how are you baby? Yes, I may be young but Im not a baby. If I am start buying me diapers, bottles, and wipes lol. I understand pet names nicknames, I just dont know why some men automatically call you baby??
I just got one of those this moring i just ignore it they go away.
Yeah thats disrespectful to me. There are only two people i call baby....an actual baby or MY girl.. To me its a term of endearment....meant to be special. Thats just me.

The term baby sounds very degrading as a first impression in my opinion.
I got onea those this morning too.... I get called it by strangers at least once a day. Darling, Sweetie, Dear... those to me are not as bad, but baby is special and not something I enjoy being called by anyone but my daddy and my man.
