Without sex their cant be any fertilization to produce egg. Remember the egg is the product of the male spermatozoa and female ovum. Hope my brief explanation answers your question.

dinosuars laid eggs, and the beleif is that modern birds are decendants of dinosaurs so in your egg/chicken scenario the egg would have come first but having been laid by a dinosuar
