im watchin dora right now with the kids. theyre doing a peter pan story........ im not prejudice nor do i have a problem with racism...... but why in the HELL is peter pan, tinkerbell, and captain hook all mexican? that is NOT what they are and they dont speak spanish. if the story had been latin then i wouldnt care..... but its not! they went too far. im halfway tempted to write a strongly worded letter to nickolodian. oh disney should sue the crap otta them! its copyright infringement. if youre gonna do that then get permission and use the REAL characters!

If that's the case then Disney should sue PBS for an episode on Super Y where they did Cinderella.

The part ur all forgetting is the fact that ALL the big production companies work for the same ppl. Theres a much larger picture here.

it irks me when we take a story from them and use thier characters, but they take a story born from disney and use thier own characters. you can be dam sure if we did that they would call us racist, but its ok for them. I REALLY dont like double standards. as i said about the oranges.... NO I SAY!

I've been off the Dora bandwagon for a long time. It is not a good show.

@cocusa78: you are mostly right..... however, disney and nickolodeon are two seperate entities. disney hasnt touched any of nicks shows. i dont think its fair to take a story and change it to suit the demographic. disney is multinational as well but they havent turned dora into a little white girl. thats my point... if they did, the demographic would be in an uproar and disney would have to pay.

i have my theory about dora but i let the kids watch cause it IS educational. ive never liked dora or diego but i now feel theyve crossed the line.

@PaulG7719: i agree. And whys the little boy always pickin up snakes and leopards?? One of my relatives kids tried to pick up a water moccasin cause he saw him do it on tv lol (he was two at the time and it ran away)
