This is just a little rant for me and if any wants to comment feel free. I was raised christian but I chose buhddism for myself. Ive had a few family members tell me im going to burn in hell for 'abandoning' God. As a christian I was depressed all the time and saw myself as a tainted being. As a buhddist I find myself with tools to help myself in dealing with my short-comings and constructive concrete ways on improving myself. I am in no way bitter towards the christian religion or any other for that matter satanism included. So why must people feel the need to incure the wraith of their dieties and god/gods on anyone who believes differently? Why cant we just agree to disagree?

Good point.... To each his own... Some people are very closed minded and believe so strongly in what they believe in that they want to share it... They aren't trying to push but they do.... Not realizing it... This is what makes America great.... Freedom.... as much as it can be anyways...

Because its in peoples nature. I was raised christain & found Odinism years ago & I am no longer depressed & dependant on others. I don't think it matters what a person believes as long as it makes them happy. The ones I do have a problem with are the ones who have NO idea what they are talking about & try to rant on & on about it.

Im not saying America's not "free" but America doesn't reconize my religion... in fact upon telling people im Odinist a lot ofbpeople think its a horrible thing. Because when the Vikings brought back Christianity they banned Odinism & Killed anyone who practiced it.

@April666: I completely agree just so long as a person is happy with their beliefs it should not matter what those beliefs are. My grandmother holds church at her home and I dont attend for the simple fact that she had no qualms about informing me my children were going to hell because of my decisions.
