A man long ago was dieing on his bad at home surrounded by friends,family,and loved ones when he passes and goes onto the kingdom on high and as he walks to the pearly gates he looks behide him and sees his foot prints in the sands of life and notices two sets of prints but only one set of print only during his hardest of times in life and asks his lord and savor "why when i was dealing with hardship and triles do i only see one set of foot prints my lord and why did you abandding me" the lord replied back "MY SON WHEN YOU SEE THE ONE SET OF FOOT PRINTS IN THE SAND IT WAS WHEN I CARRIED YOU DURING THOSE HARD TIMES AND TROBLES THOSE FOOT PRINTS THAT YOU SEE AND SPEEK OF ARE NOT THOSE OF YOURS BUT ARE THOSE OF MINE YOU LORD" AMEN

Hi Godfearingman, yes I remember this story quite well growing up. My mother loved it and kept a FootPrints In The Sand portrait on the wall. I couldnt understand for a long while. But, thank you for posting because every time Im just about to blame him for something I think isnt going right in my life or I feel robbed of something and I see this, it's a little hard to blame the one person that turns out to have always been there :)

Uh, thought I did lol jk, of course I do! That during our lives God is carrying us...protecting, caring, and looking out for us on every journey we take. Just when we think we're alone, we're not cause he's there and fighting our battles for us even when we're not able to. Yes, I got it and do understand it. It's just hard for me to see and believe it sometimes in my own life. There were times even recently I blamed him. But, I hold on to the belief that he has our best interest in mind and heart and that's what keeps me happy, positive and confident no matter how bad the situation seems. No matter how bad people seem. God is good. Im so glad my bf has encouraged me to get my behind back in church. I wont ever fully understand his works but in the end, it always works out for a good reason.

Footprints in the Sand is one of my fave . When I am down , Reading & understanding it over and over again really helps me to be in a positive mood once again .


Indeed , God will never leave us all alone but will carry and comfort us in the most difficult moments of our lives :)

Thank you but i did it for all those going through a diffacult time right now i see alot of bad and troublesome forums on here and i thought that it could and would lift alot of thier spirits even if for a breif momment :) god loves us all and cares for us all and we as the childern of christ have more to deal with for satian doesn't want there to be belivers in gods word so we must put on the armor of god the helmet of knownledge the breastplate of courage and the sword and faith and word and prepair for the battle :) the more we go through the more we turn from god but that is the test of trust and faithfulness god doesn't want bad things to happen to us in life but through those bad things can we find comfort in his word and house :) for those who live and go by his teachings and word shall find refughe in his love care word and house god will bless thy with ten fuls for your service on earth for great is your reward in heaven on high plus ten thousand fuls :)
