Honor Killing - An Honorable Act or Not ? (by Rainbowbutterfly)
I know this is a bit sensitive issue .
Would you kill a member of your family because she brought shame to the family ?
In today's modern society , do you think it is still an honorable act ?
Your opinion is highly appreciated .
Thanks

no today is diff than way back wen. Every body has the freedom to do as they plz so do it and dont wory about wat others think
I believe it was just as dishonarable an act way back when as it wld be in todays society.
How does what someone else does, shame you? Just the thought of that is ludicrous to me. Sounds like selfishness and ignorance run amok....and we're not talking abt family members doing something horrible either...
hmm if that person brought shame to the family or whoever it is, he has not the right to kill! well i think the cops can handle the issue x)
i really dont like it when i hear about the "honor killings" on the news, killed because they chose or want to choose a different path to their family.
We here in Arizona had a case not long ago where a Muslim father intentionally ran over and killed his daughter with his SUV, because she was dating an American boy (an infidel.) The public here was both shocked and outraged! The father was tried and convicted of murder, and now resides in a prison cell, where he will spend the the rest of his life!

yes. If the shame was great enough. Gotta cowboy up and do what's needed. Plenty of time to lose sleep later.
