Ok. Society has definetly gotten worse as a whole. And wtf does interacial dating have to do with anything? Sounds like racist thing?? Anyhow there was sex on tv LONG b4 16 & pregnant. Also none of those girls have had a cake walk. So if one uses common sense...you can see the struggle they go through. And its the younger generation...right? What a joke..in the 60s people were doing everything we do now...sex,drugs,party!!! Jus sayin:)

Jmo..It doesnt come down to how ur raised. It throws me how diff it is now but not all bad. Its hard to change, but like the interracial remark..i know some religions follow that and i respect that but i was raised that way and as an adult decided i would not pass along hate to my child. Drugs..i see so many Od's that i do hate them..but u have to respect others choices and not judge

How you were raised is the majority of your growing up. if you were raised in a violent home your more likely going to seek out violence if you were raised with boozers your more likely to become on yourself same with drugs. kids who were raised in gangers are usually one themselves starting atleast at age 12. no matter your age there is always hardships in parenthood so just cuz they are 16 and a mother doesnt mean they are the only ones who have it hard. my grandmother use to tell me that you creat your own bull this is true. but influencing is a huge part in your up bringing. did you have common sense in right and wrong when you were ten? no your parents teach you that

The 90's are a lot worse then the 60's its being nieve. its not little house on the parrier anymore its nip tuck rupaul's drag race 16 and pregnant has led to girls wanting to become pregnant to be on the show it was on the news drugs are very popular just not as noticeable as in the 60's just throwing some knowledge out there :)

I just mean that there comes a time when ur grown to make ur own choice..i try and raise my son to be a good man but ultimately it will be his choice..i was raised with abuse and hate and broke the pattern..it is possible to choose. Not meaning conflict just discussion..always open to different views

@acire i agree. Using your upbringing to me is an excuse. I learned from my parents mistakes. I could give a LONG list of the way they were that i am NOT!! And seeing my sister with a newborn at 15-16 and i was only 9-10. Just made me not want that even more. And yes i could make decisions on right & wrong when i was 10. Maybe i was more mature & advanced than others my age. I choose to be better than my parents and expect my children to be even better than that. People get "stuck" on things and cant let go. We are all humans and make mistakes. I know im not perfect. But each day i am open to listening, learning, and striving to be better than the day b4. Everyone is different and thats fine with me.
