Well let me say this and dont mean to ruin it for ya but ghost definantly are fake and spirits are real but spirits dont live on earth. They pass on to heaven or hell and there is no floating around in the middle waiting to see where your gonna go. There may have been an event that triggered that part of your mental thoughts which allowed you to believe it was real to help you throught that time in your life. Kinda like that child that had an imaginary friend that only he or she could see then they out grew that stage of life.

your right on what you saw. He may have lost a child your age or you confort him there are many reasons. One day go back to the house and see if he comes. If you belive it. Many people dont see spirits or anything strange and unusual. unless they have gifts or are mediums so go back and see :)
