I'm sitting here watching the Weather Channels coverage of Hurricane Isaac and was wondering if any of you guys have ever been thru a natural disaster? 'Canes, tornadoes, quakes, fires,etc....I live in n.Louisiana so hurricanes have usually petered out by the time they reach me, thos this 1 is still supposed to be a tropical storm wen it gets here tmorow nite.

Nope, not at all. The first earthquake I can remember happened sometime last year and was so small nothing even fell off the shelves. But it freaked us out pretty bad lol I can't imagine what it must be like to live in California.. o.o
Do Blizzards count? The record flooding of Lake Champlain last summer... Oh and Hurricane Irene (Wind and flooding)
hurricane once...tornado a few times pretty close and an earthquake once...scary stuff!
I live in tornado valley, we have hundreds a year, some very deadly. Ive watched 4 on the ground at one time
Hurricanes and Tornadoes. I lived in NC for 10yrs, plus I have lived in VA and FL. Plus when I was younger we lived somewhere in WV were I could stand outside and watch the tornadoes forming in between the mountains. lol.
