Ever have a family member think your friends were your significant other? (by Seeuinthefuture)
So my mom assumes every guy that comes over is my boyfriend. Cuz with my ex she thought we were just friends then realized what was going on. So its embarrassing having her ask. Cuz shes gunna think im lying to her like when i kept it a secret last time. I havent dated in 2 years, i guess she just figures when my best friend comes over at nite that we are doing more than playing video games lol And i dont want her assuming that. This town doesnt have many gay men. The ones that do live here have opposite interests than me. Im more comfortable around straight men. Am i the only person this has happened to?

It has happened to me as well my bestfriend is a guy and he would usually visit me on Friday nights after work, we would spend every weekend together and once he hold my hand because he was going to crack my thumb so my mom saw and ever since she thinks we have something going on -_- it's annoying

Itz killin me w depression. I think theres sumthin wrong w me bkuz even the fruitiest fellah dislikes me even tho im one of the kindest guys around.
All my galpals got really curious about being with women when I came out, so I really don't have that issue. I just told my grandma what was up and she just told me to be careful. She doesn't care.

@jcbolt: Hang in there. Just keep being a nice guy. The right fella will come around. Im being celebate right now. I dont get into that whole hooking up thing or friends with benefits. I have trust and abandonment issues so i like to take things slow. I know one day ill find someone. Just gotta move somewhere that there are some gay men. Far away from my mom. Who i call little. Idk why. It just some inside joke that we forgot. And its stuck. Its a weird random habit lol
