Time To Make A Change. (by VampDoll)
I started a diet last week, the last couple of years I have let myself go. This year more, I've done a lot of comfort eating, I'm sad, I eat, mad, I eat, happy, I eat, bored, I eat a whole lot. I started putting all the weight on after I stopped nursing my son, before I was slim and lost weight easily. But afterwards, I feel like I look at a cake for too long and not eat it, and the calories get me anyways. I mean there are bigger people in the world and slimmer, and of course my friends say I look fine but its only about how I feel about myself and my confidence. And at the moment its not good. I've gone up two dress sizes in about 6 months.
Last week, I chucked out as much of the junk food I could(my son wouldn't appreciate joining me on this diet)and I bought in a lot of fruit, vegetables, fish, chicken, healthy cereals and soups. Its been a week tomorrow since I started, so I'm excited to know how much I've lost.
Anyway, I just thought I'd share this with you, because I know I'm not alone in the world when worrying about my figure. I've started walking my friends dogs too, before I even consider joining a gym.
I'll be updating this weekly. Feel free to share your struggles and triumphs, if you want too. I thought this thread could be a positive and supportive one. Thanks :)

That's great, your a great role model for other women. I've seen a lot of girls struggling with they're weight nowadays. This could totally give them some positive thinking. Keep it up girl :)
Best of luck i've lost 30 pounds in the last 4 months by eating better and riding my bicycle
Good for you aldo that's great. Keep it up! Bet you are feeling better within yourself :)
Thanks mucka roo. I'm so determined. Its like someone stuck a rocket under me :)
@ MrAzizo. I'm far from a role model but thanks. I just want to do this for myself and when I reach my goal, to say to people, I did it, so can you. I just know people find support in groups etc, people going through the same things, so just wanted to be honest and if it relates to anyone, we can encourage and support one another. Swap tips and stories :)
Well if you are feeling better inside and out, you know you're doing well. Good luck! You ever want to chat about it on here or pm, just go for it :)
