Im not sure how I should interpret this comment when this person is Phillipino and thus a minority also here in the US*scratches head Anyways, sorry to diappoint you but this does not make you a racist in my eyes. As for racism itself, the concept and systematic use of it changes everyday. I personally think racism occurs through the dehumanizing of an entire race of people in order to control or limit that group's access to resources or involvement. Not just calling me ugly but classifying me as an animal or something other than human. The oldest trick in the books. First of all, if I can really convince myself that a living breathing human is really an animal, I not only have what I think is sufficient reason but also can gain sufficient backing and support when I go after the "animals." Animals dont have rights under the state and country's laws and thus are in its mercy. This to me is racism. No matter how delicately done, it's racism. Do I take it as seriously as my parents and forefathers at their time nope. I feel we're all trying to recreate Master/Slave relations everyday and dont remotely know a damn thing about it because none of us were there...none of us are masters or slaves. the other mostly for power and control these days. Political, Social, and Economic power to be exact. Shame. Let it go people. As long as I have the same access and rights as everyone else and no one tries to declassify me to then make me to believe I should not or that I dont deserve to have this, you can SAY whatever ya want.
