Should we require users to have a Verified Pic before allowing them to post? (by Andres)
In that case, if we implemented this restriction, you would only be able to read the Forums, but you would not be able to post anything.
@Andres: seems kinda un fair i think to the real people like me that actually have a reason why i cant verify a photo this is a tough decision for you i understand and there are more yeses than no it looks like so when will the decision be made?
@Andres: Did u see the "guest" idea brought up by @rainbowbutterfly earlier in this thread? Thoughts?
That's because I didn't see it:) Hell, let's just outlaw all automobiles cuz the brakes failed on one and caused an accident...
You're absolutely right, it would not be fair to users such as yourself, that's one of the original "Cons" I mentioned at the beginning of the thread.
To be honest, I'm not sure how allowing "guest" users to post but not send private messages would solve the problem at hand.

@Andres: I guess it wud provide another layer of protection against ner do wells. I get ur pt tho. Sounded good yesterday. Even MrRamtastic needs to sleep on an idea from time to time
My last plea in favor of allowing all members to post on the forum...Just did a lil un-scientific survey of the "New Posts" section. There were no threads ovr 2 pages long and 17 members actually online, 8 of which had no verified picture. Are we gonna let the number of forum users at any moment be cut in half just because they may choose not to verify a pic? I should hope not, at least until participation in the forum can somehow be expanded dramatically. My campaigning on this issue is now over and I will be ok with whatever choice is made.
Ummm not sure... my first pic was verified but my lip pics weren't lol I think its a good idea but then u should be able to upload more then one at least 2 :)
Your pic has to be a facial photo, cant be of ur body parts. @Andres Has any decision been made on this topic yet?
