@donk75: I have a friend in TN who was in the Marines for 20 years and he is retiered now but still works for them ! He is going 2 Iraq next month 2 get all the heavy equipment out of there! I never met a more straight 2 the point in a couple of words man like him in my life ! And i looked up nicknames for Marines and the explanation on them ! The one i knew already was SEMPER FI ...always faithful the other one was TEUFELHUNDE thats what the Germans called them and it means DEVIL DOGS!! Now i know a couple more JARHEADS ..LEATHERNECKS....very interresting !!! Thank u!! ;)

'Ol Ram is slow tday lol Donk, as a former Marine, is correct. Leatherneck is a nickname for a Marine. When they used to fight with swords on ships, they wore a piece of leather around their necks to protect against the enemy's blade. Hence, Leathernecks :) Semper Fi ya'll lol....And I was always taught that there were no EX Marines. Potato, PotOto lmao!
