Are there any people that have heard of buergers disease? No not an STD (by bigd1993201111)
What other associated " illnesses " the doctor diagnosed about your dad? What were the symptoms ( if your dad told you so ) ...I'm intrigued ...
Well im glad i can occupy your minds with something new :)
Oooopppss sorry . I didn't see your last post when I posted my last comment . So meaning its possibly a genetic disease ... What would be the precaution( s) & is there a way to detect that kind of disease early on to avoid amputation?
@Rainbowbutterfly: well hes sitting right next to me lol but there are alot of doctors that dont know the disease. Apt they think they know and mis diagnose. Umm im not really positive on how to spell everything haha but it effects mostly your toes and fingers. His foot gets ice cold and on a scorcher of a day he will say hes freezing. Its bad blood flow and the disease effects your veins or arteries. His is arteries. They say the some symptoms are obviously being cold all the time. That underneath your toes will whiten and then begin to turn black. Almost all cases lead to gangerine then to amputation. Umm other symptoms are puking blood um calfs and toes severely cramp. Usually during exercise or standing. One major is ur arch of your foot and cramps leading to incredible pain
They also say it mimics diabetes to a T. Severe ulcers and lacerations on body. And usually dont heal correct from the inside out and instead outside to in causing infection
Aawwww ... I need to saved this thread on my phone lol .. I'm gonna let my father read this ...
Is your dad not diabetic ?
Is your dad not diabetic ?
@Rainbowbutterfly: the only known precaution or the best way to prevent is to not smoke or completely smoke and this doesnt always prevent it. Thats why im trying to research
@Rainbowbutterfly: lol its all good sorry there so long. He also said that you cant sit at a 90 degree angle for too long or he starts to bexome numb and tingley.
Hmm... well, i wonder if it is genetic or no. the males in my family smoke, some more than others, but we have never had this. my grandfather had prostate cancer, but died cuz he had bone cancer. but he smoke like a chimney. my dad and uncle smoke like chimneys too, but no signs of that yet. me, i smoke less than they do, and no signs either.
