There's something I don't understand about my cough that doesn't seem to want to leave. I recently had a chest x-ray that my medical advisor said there's nothing wrong but yet wants me to start talking antibiotics & when I asked why she says it's just a precautionary & I don't have nothing to worry about. So when I get the medicine I read the description and it says it's for viral problems in the lungs. So here's my question is this something I need to be considered about or not?

Oh me I was wrong about my antibiotics medicine I was prescribed, it says it will not work for viral infections. I don't know how I got that information wrong.

No country seems to have the cure for covid-19 yet.

Take the antibiotics anyway . You can also try some home remedy , for example - boil some cinnamon , cloves Basil leaves etc. with water and drink the brew warm . Or you can add any of these things to your tea or coffee if you like . I think it may help .

Oh I have to take my medicine cause it cost too much not to take it besides I know antibiotics would help no matter what's wrong with me

@DearJohn: yes I've heard about it , that the medicines are costly in the US . And so is the healthcare in general . In India it's the opposite . Medicine are way too cheap and easily available (even without a doctor's prescription) which results in it's misuse and abuse . I rarely take any allopathy medicine or antibiotics and mostly rely on natural homemade remedies (besides my bottle of whiskey) .

@DearJohn: President Trump has suspended aid to WHO and now he's saying that the US is investigating whether the virus originated from some lab in Wuhan . Something big around the corner ?
