I (43F) found out my husband (48M) cheated on me with multiple women when he worked as a bartender. This was maybe 12-15 years ago, when we were just dating. Not sure how to feel, or if I should even bring this up.
When me and my husband met, he was this hunky beautiful charming turkish guy living in a loft in the east village. We were lower manhattan kids, just young and stupid and drugged up constantly. But we fell in love, moved in together, he got a job as a bartender at some club. Its important to note that when he got the job, I was dating him already.
So I was in the city again and I Was out getting drinks with my friends while the kids and my husband were in greece. We talked to these girls who were there, and one of them knew my husband, I never mentioned he was my husband but she said he worked with him and that they slept together a bunch of times. I told her to tell me more, faux acting like he was just some guy I knew. Apparently he slept around all the time at the bar. She said girls literally crawled all over him, that he flirted constantly for tips, took his shirt off while working. I kept telling her to tell more, and it just got worse sort of. Apparently he would sleep with girls for extra tips, like almost like "ill give you a 50 dollar tip if you **** me in the bathroom" type stuff. He was known at the bar as the hot guy who ****ed all the girls and got with everyone.
I didnt tell her I was his wife. But I am just... shocked. I mean, jesus ****ing christ? Like, I know it was a while ago and we were dumb and didnt care about much. But just hearing the extent of it.
Today we live in the suburbs with 2 kids. That entire lifestyle is over with, although we do smoke pot occasionally.
I don't want to break up with him obviously, or divorce or anything. But just hearing that really made me upset. We both had the occasional sexual experiences with others back then, but we told each other when it happened, and it only happened like 2-3 times between the two of us.
Should I even bring this up to him? I feel betrayed kind of.
