What kinds of chores did your parents/family have you do, if any, when you were growing up? (by Sparky)

What kinds of chores did your parents/family have you do, if any, when you were growing up?

My parents wanted me to do dishes and keep my room clean. After my half-sister and brother were born, they wanted me to help babysit. Once in while they'd ask for other things, but those things were consistently expected of me.

Vacuum, dishes, clean my room, occasionally clean the bathroom (but that was mostly my brother's job) feed and water the dogs.

Dishes ,vacuum , take out trash , chop firewood ,stack wood ,mow our 3 acre yard ,keep my room clean,bring in groceries, shovel snow, get fresh vegetables out of garden , babysit little brother . Wash walls .

I was born and raised on a farm so my chores included slopping the hogs gathering eggs fetch fire wood and do the dishes then walk 5 miles up hill to the bus stop in the middle of a July snow storm
