Ex-wife (27) and mother of my kids (7&2) miscarried
Hey everybody, first time posting on this sub, using a throwaway for privacy. My ex-wife was 22 weeks pregnant with her partner and miscarried yesterday. I have two children with her aged 7 and 2, and my question is what can I do to be supportive right now? How should we go about explaining what happened to my eldest son, who was very excited about the baby? And lastly, what can I do to help the mother of my children? I've taken our two year old indefinitely until she can recover from her C-section/hysterectomy, and I've verbalized that I want to help however I can, but it doesn't feel like I'm doing enough.
TLDR: Ex-wife miscarried, don't know what to tell our kids, don't know how to help best
Source.
