What is something that was once considered to be a "legend" or "myth" that eventually turned out to be true?

That Trump was the Anti Christ ...JK!! He's my pilot too..so I don't protest against him, and wanted him as Potus rather than Hilary..but yeah..
he scares me a little...
he scares me a little...
I would furiously defend my position if I were right...but hey, that's just me.
@MrWalkSoftly: But you noticed it's been what....2-3 weeks and no sign of said dog owner? Once i pointed out the picture he said was a year old was on twitter in 2012 and he threw his phone, he knew his game was over. I still gave him the benefit of the doubt about the job, but you know how that went lol. Just blows my mind still to this day.
it just blows my mind that people (or said person) would think nobody would notice something like that honestly
@megsy89: i know right. And then to still claim they were his after they were found all over the internet, the dogs were professional, to set up to be done at home ya know. Hell, being sold by numerous individuals as far as India and he STILL claimed they were his and he "just brought them inside so no one would come harm them now that he knows their picture has been stolen." Give me a break...he gave people here no credit at all.
@Critter1211: told me the same thing... how 'upset' he was by it all... like uhhuh. Pretty sure anyone with half a brain isn't buyin this I will never understand the point, honestly... if he hadn't posted that pic, most of us would still be clueless he was lying... it's almost like he wanted to be found out
