Do some people just ignore profiles completely? I mean they must scroll THROUGH the profile to message right? Even if they just glance over the profile I don't think it's hard to gather that I'm here for friends and only friends, not to trade pics! Its why I haven't been around much, these seem to be the only people that even want to talk to me! It's gets annoying after a bit... The very first message and they're incredibly off putting and very sexual.. It makes me want to punch them!

Serious question....is there that big a problem with this? I mean, I can't see how many guys are on here....all the ladies are on the forums.

@MrWalkSoftly: seems like about 80% of the messages I get straight out talk about sexual scenes or immediately beg for pics.. It's at the point that I don't even want to have a profile pic up anymore..

If you take pic down, you lose full verification, and your only tool to combat those guys...the karma button.

The best thing to do in this scenario is to give them Negative Karma without replying to them so that they can't retaliate with Negative Karma.

If enough woman do that when they get a message from a guy who didn't bother to read their profiles before messaging them or who was rude and sexual in the very first message, then those guys will have a Negative Karma score and will find it very difficult to get anyone's attention.

If you have any suggestions on what else we can do or add to help with this type of problem, then please let me know because this problem turns a lot of women away from the site. It's a problem almost every dating site faces, so much so that one site went to the extreme of not allowing guys to message girls first, but I don't want to go to that extreme.

I feel very fortunate that i haven't recieved any such messages. I've recieved messages saying they are looking for soneone fun to chat with, but I've never been asked to exchange photos. Knock on wood.

Nobody has to read anybody's profile to message them, the online icon shows that "you walked in the door & also shows an icon that allows them to message you without reading your profile.
