@Trisha777: Circus or not I still wouldn't sleep with in a snake tank. I don't care about the old saying "The Show Must Go On"!!! The show can go on without me Curtain Call Please !!!

@Brighteyes1211: Thanks for reading my blog & making a comment. When I 1st began working on an Arkansas farm, there were alot of things new to me. I was born & raised on a farm in Arizona, and it was like almost starting all over again. Oh boy, then I got lucky to have finding a job working for a retail store selling & delivering TVs, funiture & appliances for 17 yrs before going to work on this farm I am on now. I never had an inside job before so that was new to me & then when I went back to farming I had forgotten alot of things about Arkansas farming. So once again it was just like starting over again. I do like going to yardsales, swapmeets, flea markets & sometimes Auctions too, a person can find some good stuff at a great price at those places. But usually beginning in Spring I like to cookout on Sunday afternoons after going to the mid-size flea market in Pine Bluff.

@Trisha777: I don't even like feel of a snake at all. Too many times close calls of being biten by one gives me the Jeepers Creepers from them.

@Brighteyes1211: Frogs & snakes too? Well I tell you what, I don't like wasp, hornets & bumble bees. Their sting hurts like heck, my dog Russell gets stung by them alot because he's always got his nose into something.

Today I finally finshed two rice fields, dang they are so rough to get over with a tractor. The fields look dry but not very deep down is pure mucky mud. I feel like I driven a 100 miles this week but to tell the truth I would be luck if I travled 300 arces. At 4pm today I started in another rice this one is about 90 acres I'll have to go over it at least twice. The rest of the crew finshed planting corn until the other fields are dry enough for the tractors not to rut the middles of the the rows. Luckily we only have slight chances of rain for the next 10 days.

It's raining so far we have gotten 3/10 of an inch but enough to make the ground to wet for any tractor work. I was able to go to the DMV, got my car license & tagged switched insurance from the GMC 4x4 pickup to the Nissan. Now to get the oil changed & a tune up for it, then I'll be able to go where & when I want on Sundays.
