My best friends family used to burn all their meat whenever they cooked because they didnt want to get "infected" ...I thought it was weird as a kid

When I was a kid a friend of mine invited me to eat supper with her family they were eating cow toungs...yuck and I swear it looked just like what it was a freaking cow toung on the plate. I told her I think i here my moma calling me and left lol
