@VampDoll: I really admire that devotion to your child. You sound like an amazing mother. :) And I loooove that you've got him reading, that's wonderful! I'm always trying to get the children and people my age to read. If somebody never stepped foot inside a school, if they would just read read read, that's all the education they need. It opens your mind to everything.

I read to him before he was born, I read to my bump lol. We are currently reading our way through all the roald dahl books. Its very bonding and he sits and listens and enjoys reading to me. He has a vivid imagination and he also loves reading the dictionary. He's 6. Yeah I think everyone should read to their children, you don't need to be an intellectual to do it. I play a massive part in my sons learning, I do spelling tests for him and we read our times tables together constantly. I buy him activity education books and we do it all together. My son can spell things like difficulty, nemesis, extraordinary and mischievous. I'm a proper proud mummy :)

Keep it up Vampdoll. Poetry is your expression of inner self, like a good dream put into words.... Your poems will find their audience no matter how plain or inexperienced you might think it is, someone out there will relate and your emotion in it will touch another soul. BTW your poem was beautiful. Ps I read my poems(the PG10 ones) to my kids and they crit it for me, but mostly they just find it cool that a Mommy can write a poem. Way cool.
