Be Gentle With Me :/ (by VampDoll)
Amazing advice alynn, I'll take heed. I want to do a course on writing at college but as I get older I get more scared at pursuing education. Confidence is paramount for going towards any goals you have in life.
No, I meant to put 'down' but come to think of it...'doubt' fits nicely in there too huh? lol

No I don't hun. Some of my favourite poets are john keats, emily dickinson, edgar allan poe, ivan donn carswell and thomas hardy to name a few.
@VampDoll: Please do not get discouraged about going to college and writing. If I'd never gone to college and discovered how much I not only love, but NEED writing, I don't know where I'd be right now. I've learned so much, met some amazing writers and inspiring people. And my writing is growing because I have a little direction now. Age doesn't matter. As long as you're still breathing, it's never too late. Go after it! I wish you all the luck in the world. :D
I will definitely do it one day. At the moment my son is my priority. I encourage him to read and he's well advanced for his age. He likes poetry too but funny and silly poems.
I'm old school when it comes to my poets, I love the really old poems, they seem rustic yet ahead of there time in other respects. I enjoy love poetry but its got to be dry and not overly soppy. It has to be real but real to what I think love is because I've never been in love. I love poetry so much.
