It actually hit just North of Tulsa in Sand Springs. Only one confirmed fatality who stayed in his mobile home.

It actually hit just North of Tulsa in Sand Springs. Only one confirmed fatality who stayed in his mobile home.
Actually if that tornado hadn't been photo shopped it is a view of the tornado location. Sand Springs is about 7 miles directly west (slightly south) of downtown Tulsa. The tornados that claimed a life were 3 miles further west from Sand Springs. Although tornados were a possibility these dropped from the sky with barely any warning at all. All the news stations were focusing on an entirely different section of the storm as the most likely to produce tornados. My sisters roof was blown off and they barely had time to get in the bathroom. I take the weather in stride but this storm was so violent and swift it actually made me quite anxious. I hope the whole season doesn't go like this.

Me too. Someone I love very much lives in Tulsa. I was quite anxious til she answered me that night.
