That's why if everyone was allowed to carry handguns like the 2nd amendment states then an attack like this would never happen in the United States. But nooo mister Obama let's ban guns. Let's isolate incidents and make each race divide so you can conquer. Let's give police forces military equipment to create a privite army. Hell let's just open our borders and allow millions if illegals into our country and in the process allow terrorists to sneak in. Good job Mr. President

"" (CNN)— French law enforcement officers have
been told to erase their social media presence
and to carry their weapons at all times
because terror sleeper cells have been
activated over the last 24 hours in the
country, a French police source who attended
a briefing Saturday told CNN terror analyst
Samuel Laurent.
Ahmedy Coulibaly, a suspect killed Friday
during a deadly kosher market hostage siege,
had made several phone calls about targeting
police officers in France, according to the
source.
The alert came amid word that the lone
remaining suspect wanted in connection with
a terrorism spree -- Hayat Boumeddiene --
entered Turkey on January 2, a Turkish prime
ministry source told CNN Saturday.
Turkish police have tracked her movements,
according to the source
Boumeddiene is believed to have left for
Turkey "of course to reach Syria" at the
beginning of the year, according to a French
source close to the nation's security services.
That means Boumeddiene may not have been
in France at the time of Thursday's deadly
shooting of a policewoman in Paris, as
authorities originally believed. Authorities
offered no immediate explanation of the
discrepancy, but have said she is wanted in
connection with a terrorist attack.
A flurry of developments Saturday included
claims linking one of the Charlie Hebdo
attackers with the so-called underwear
bomber, who sought to bring down a plane
over Detroit in 2009.
The connection has not been confirmed by
officials, and French investigators are still
trying to piece together the web of
connections between three suspects killed
Friday as two sieges came to a bloody end.""

"" Paris (AFP) - This week's three million copies
of Charlie Hebdo, the first post-attack issue of
the French satirical weekly, will defiantly
feature caricatures of the Prophet Mohammed,
its lawyer said Monday.
The special issue, to come out on Wednesday,
will also be offered "in 16 languages" for
readers around the world, one of its
columnists, Patrick Pelloux, said.""

"" Pressed on why the Obama administration
doesn’t describe the terror attacks in France
as “radical Islam” like the French government
does, White House press secretary Josh
Earnest said Tuesday that it’s about
“accuracy.”
NPR reporter Mara Liasson said the French
“are calling the ideology, the warped view, by
a name,” and pointed out that Earnest
wouldn’t do that. “Is there a reason for that?”
“The first is accuracy,” Earnest said. “These
are individuals who carried out an act of
terrorism and they later tried to justify an act
of terrorism by invoking Islam and their own
deviant view. The second is, this was an act
that was condemned by Muslim leaders. We
have not chosen to use that label because it
does not accurately describe what
happened.”
He added, “We are trying to be as specific an
accurate as possible. “
Earlier in the exchange, Earnest had said: “I
think the fact that the majority of victims of
terrorist attacks carried out by Al Qaeda and
adherents and their particular brand of
violence, the majority of them are Muslims, I
think is a pretty clear indication that this is
not a matter of the world being at war with
Islam. The world and the United States, as
we’ve discussed before, are in the context of
ISIL, is at war with these individuals, violent
extremists, who carry out these acts of terror
and try to justify it by invoking this religion.”
Liaison said, “France, your ally in this effort,
has put a name on this ideology, which he
calls radical Islam. You have bent over
backwards to not ever say that. There must
be a reason.”
“The reason is twofold. I certainly wouldn’t
want to be in a position where I’m repeating
the justification that they have cited that I
think is completely illegitimate. They have
invoked Islam to try to justify their attacks,”
Earnest said.
Liaison responded, “So to call it radical
Islam, you feel, would be playing into their
hands?”
Earnest said, “Well, I think what I’m trying to
do is describe to you what happened. These
are individuals who are terrorists.”"

Ive never heard so much double speak. To NOT call something what it actually is, is just as much lying as as calling a dog a cat.
Mr. President, get this....the FRENCH have more balls than you do. Let that sink in.
To further my point, look up the terrorist attacks in Yemen and Nigeria that happened at the same time the French attack took place....and tell me what all three have in common.

Well President Obama didn't go to France either. Then later says "it as a mistake not to go". While his White House spokes people said "We only had 36 hour notice"
So much for supporting France!
So much for "the war on terrorism". And he did refer to them as" Paris stands for freedom ", not France itself.
This is just MORE of this administration's downplay of Islamic terrorism, through out the world.

"The Nation of Islam's primary goal is to make the world Muslim."
This isn't new, this is not a secret, this is not taboo to about. This is the words of the Nation of Islam. The Nation of Islam has said this publicly & has been acting on it, by any means possible, including violence, since the 1970's !! And they not only condone it. They call upon the Muslims of the world to carry it out.

Interesting turn of events in the Netherlands a few days ago.....

"" In an interview on the Dutch TV show
Newshour shortly after the Charlie Hebdo
murders, Rotterdam mayor Ahmed Aboutaleb,
a Muslim, said Islamic extremists should
“f*ck off”.

He said, in Dutch:

It's incomprehensible that you turn
against freedom like that, but if
you don't like this freedom, for
heaven's sake, get your suitcase,
and leave. There might be a place
where you belong, and be honest
with yourself about that, don't kill
innocent journalists.
This is so backwards, so
incomprehensible, go away if you
can't find your place in the
Netherlands, or accept the society
we want to build here, because we
only want people, including all
those Muslims, and all those well-
intentioned Muslims, who may be
looked at with suspicion, we want
to keep all those people together in
what I call the "We Society". And if
you don't like it here because you
don't like the humorists who make
a little newspaper – if I may dare
say so – just f*ck off.

He then gave a powerful speech on Thursday
night in a public square in Rotterdam.""

@WalkSoftly: Cheers to Mr Aboutaleb. A brave man. And he is right , because thru out world history, there are only TWO reasons for any people to migrate & immigrate
1- either they have the life/ lifestyle, you need or want
2- you want to take their life & lifestyle from them

I wish him well
