Called the cops on Christmas (by Zilya777)
Just called the cops on my neighbor's boyfriend (again). I'm quite shaken over this. I could her screaming thru my door. He was hitting her & trying to take one of the kids. Those little girls are about 2 & 5. And could hear her begging him saying "don't hit me in front of my daughters"
My God, he shouldn't of hit her at all !

I'm starting to calm down. Shifting into angry now. Not sure if the cops took him. I certainly hope so.
Her father is with her & the kids, but that is just emotional support. He could always come back.
I'm just waiting...
Angry that the boyfriend treats her this way & angry that she put up with it. This is NOT an isolated incident (it never is with domestic violence).

Its hard to realize what your putting up with some times. Or they make it where you think they'll change. But it only gets worse & if they'd do it in front of kids or other ppl without caring. Its cuz they've gotten away with it awhile Imo
I saw my dad beat my mama when I was little. 23 years later over a cup of coffee I calmly told him if I'd had the chance back then I'd have killed him. Irony of it is when he had his first heart attack back when I was 5 I ran and got the help that saved his pathetic life. SMH
Domestic violence bein controlin and put great fear in ya and takes support and makin a decision enough is enough befor it's too late. And it's hard to understand a person doesn't make a change until u walk in their shoes.
U did a good thing by reportin it zilya777. U may have saved her and the kids lives. Some would not care and turn their head. And it is upsettin to just hear it. A hug for support for u.
I think you are right, he has become more brazen. (Insecure, panicky & child-like) This happened at the main door of the building, in daylight with witness. I know he is escalating so is his fear of loosing her... Therefore more violent.
She does need support. But doesn't seem to want it. And just as the abuser tries to isolate their victim. This victim is now isolating herself... By NOT takening any positive, rational, logical action for the safety of herself & her children.
It is mind blowing to me, how people can accept there are consequences to their actions but NOT accept, there are consequences to their inactions.
Even the neighbors who did NOTHING.. That is a conscious choice of inaction.
This is frustrating. Smfh.

Thank you. And I will keep calling the police. And at this point, I'm calling a few other agencies & departments. For the sake of the children, who did not make these f*cked up choices.
