What is the most bull**** thing you have ever been taught? (by Sparky)

Whatever the grammar school teachers believed at the time, tainted by ignorance, prejudice, religious & political,sexist views... That's what I got..
Too many to mention. Fortunately, I was raised by parents who told me "You don't have to believe it, just behave, pass tests & decide for yourself" :-)
