So I am dating a black girl. My family isn't fond of this at all. They're not racist by any means, they just don't believe in mixing race's. Anyways, my mom told me flat out that she was deeply disappointed in me. She said if me and the new gf work out she will disown me. My question, would it be wrong to choose my gf over my mom in this situation?

@spyder2389: Imo this is not about race, but your mom's fear of letting go of you & control. Perhaps if your search you & your father's history / her, you may see she has a issue.
