EVERYONE is a victim nowadays..... (by WalkSoftly)
"" Shy bladder sufferers want DirecTV to stop
airing a television ad where a "painfully
awkward" actor Rob Lowe says that he
can't urinate in public.
The satellite TV company suggests its critics
should be able to take a joke.
Part of a campaign to encourage people to
switch from cable, the ad features two
Lowes: a handsome one in a slick suit who
claims to be a DirecTV customer, and a
goofy-looking Lowe wearing a fanny pack
with his hair parted in the middle.
"Painfully awkward" Lowe is a cable
customer.
The ad touts DirecTV's service, saying cable
makes subscribers wait.
"Fact: I can't go with other people in the
room," said awkward Lowe, standing at a
urinal.
The ad is in poor taste and ridicules a
serious problem, said Steve Soifer, CEO of
the International Paruresis Association,
which estimates that some 7 percent of
Americans have some form of "shy bladder
syndrome."""

@WalkSoftly: I have not seen the ad, but from past experiences with this type of thing I already have an opinion. Those commercials are meant to be humorous. If the humor offends you, don't get direct tv. Just like if you don't agree with a corporations public stance on a social issue, don't buy their product. I go out of my way to vote with my wallet. I won't live on a world without comedy. I'm gonna crack a joke. You don't like it? Don't hang with me
@ramblinman: Hell...I just thought the term "shy bladder sufferers" was hilarious
Ahhhh.. .found another one that happened just last night.....
"" (CNN) -- Brad Paisley has never shied away
from controversial topics in his music: Alcohol
helps white people dance. Celebrities can act
like fools because people think they're cool.
Real guys don't get "manicured, waxed and
botoxed."
But he may have gone a step too far at the
Country Music Awards Wednesday night...
Paisley let viewers know that they wouldn't be
seeing the new ABC comedy "Blackâ˘ish" that
evening -- they'd be watching "white-ish."
Social media was undecided on whether his
dig at country music's predominantly white
stars (and predominantly white fan base) was
funny or racist.""

Apparently, the Twitter is all abuzz abt it.....I admit, I saw it and laughed.
