Reddit, have you ever had a gut feeling that something was bad so you left, only to find out that something bad actually did happen?

I never heard of this with snakes though. As in the link.... (maybe because at one time I had 7 of them), I'm not really buying the studies discussed in the link. ( never heard of it). I think Ppl just associate snakes with serpents and evil ( in a biblical sense) and therefore repulsed and afraid of them. It is one of the top 20 phobias . Despite the fact that only a few percentage are actually poisoness.
Then again, if I lived in a region with poisoness snakes or large constictors .( like Florida, now has ) . I would deffinity be looking for them in a whole new way.
Mammals are the ones that set my warnings off. And that has saved me in many ways. LOL.

@WalkSoftly: I think it is a crock. I really do.I think the study is bias. I think they used questions and behaviour therapy ...like for phobics

@Zilya777: Lotsa studies raise questions....so as to raise finances for even more studies.

Too many studies, and whatnot designed and intended to fail. For yes, more money. * I have questioned NASA many times over this. I couldn't help but wonder if failure and compition is the goal just to get more ( of the general ) public's backing. And Government and private funding.*
