Lesser of two evils. (by ramblinman)
Last night my phone decided that it would not charge anymore. So after four hours of driving I found a WalMart. I drove all the way around the place and could not fit my truck in the parking lot. I had to drive a mile away to a truck stop and walk. And of course it started raining as I stepped out. After getting there they only had two ATT phones. So I held my nose and bought the lesser of the two evils. Good luck for me the rain stopped while I was in.
Has anyone else had to choose from two bad options?

@ramblinman: My cell, stopped chargeing a few days ago.... It is pluged in now, just to post. Frustrating as h*ll. So soon, I will have to choose another. Aaachh!! lol
@Zilya777: LOL. Mine wouldn't even charge on the charger. It's completely dead. But I did get my contacts off of it before it bit the big one. And I was able to email a couple of pictures to myself. This new phone is a challenge. Lol
@ramblinman: Glad you mentioned about, taking the contacts out... Because even the back of this one fell off. I used electric tape... So, im cursing the cell right now...lol. And im probably going to Wallmart for mine too. (hopefully not in the rain, ugh). I need an unlimited plan. And a reasonable price phone. This one was cheap, but lasted over 3yrs.. Im just not feeling gratfull right now.
@Zilya777: yours did better than mine. Mine lasted a year and change. But I have a bad habit of dropping mine off the truck. I'm surprised it lasted this long. I got ATT because of how much I travel. The only thing not unlimited is data. But I have 3.5 gigs a month. Hopefully that'll work. Lol
@ramblinman: Mine is an a Samsung model. But after 3yrs, & long fingernails, the characters are wore off.. So im winging it, & therefore miss-spell. So I get alot of texs asking 'What are you saying?' ... I reply 'Never mind'... And a tex war, usually lasts for an hour.. Hhhaa!!
@Zilya777: i have a prepaid cell through walmart.. i get unlimited talk text and mobile web for $45 plus local taxes a month..
Wow.. Thanks, that is cheaper, than what im now paying. Im not a 'Gadget' personality. More of 'Save, Stock Up &Stash' :-)
The WalMart plans are good if you don't travel alot. I tried it. It didn't work for me. But it works for my brother.
