For me it would be ww2 just to see what society was actually like and to see all the planes flying in formation.

I have no romantic notions of any historical period. I am perfectly happy to be alive right now. But if I had to choose, just for sake of the thread; I would say Eire, pre-catholicism.
Old west would be fun but i would like to go back to the 17th or 18th century and be a assassin type to end tyrants and tyranny.
