Would you lie to a new girlfriend or boyfriend to... (by Lionface)
Keep them from knowing something about you that you are ashamed of ?
No. If it's something that important, then it should be shared. I might not bring it right up, but if it came up in conversation I wouldn't lie.
Nope wouldn't lie, just omit that information...
Follow-up question...do you need to know EVERYTHING about your SO?

No, I wouldn't lie, lies only hurt a relationship and besides if they can't accept you for who you are then they aren't worth being with in the first place
@sweetnspice: no,not everything, but some things point out a course like a compass, example , I new this woman who was engaged,I had relations with her and afterwards she told me that she had cheated on every one she was ever with,, see for I'm saying, its not her past partners I'm concerned about as much as why the relationship's ended. Then she gave me a invitation to the wedding better him than me.
@Lionface: I see it like this.. A lie is a lie. Then their is omitting vital information. Then there's ... None of our buisness. Because the past is the past. And everything isn't for everybody. Getting into the "why's" , of other people's behavior, only distract's from our own growth & happiness. *I would just pray for exceptance & move on*
Good question!
So I guess there's people out there who are willing to start a relationship off on a lie or secrets.
If you want to be with someone then surely all must be truth and no secrets kept (apart from surprise parties ect)
I'm always upfront with whoever I'm with and if they don't like something well it's not really my problem and they should either learn to deal with it or sod off

No, I wouldn't lie and I always tell the truth with someone who I'm with...they better know me now and if they don't like it so they can move on
I used to be honest about almost everything until u found out it was not helping d relationship. So i learnt not to just say too much. If you really want to be with someone you must be able to know What to say and the best way to go about it.
