Would you want to know? (by Jboss1984)
If you were diagnosed with a non curable disease, would you want to know how long you had left?
I wouldn't as I know that I'd just dwell on that fact.
If I was told I had something Incurable then I'd just take it day by day and live for that day (which I do anyway)
I just think that If I knew how long I actually had left then I'd become all depressed.

@Notlikeothers: That's how I see it. Even when you are healthy tomorrow isn't guaranteed. I would still go for what ever treatment would help but wouldn't want to know how long I had left.
@jboss1984 I've spoken to my family about this and I've decided that if I got cancer then I wouldn't want any treatment for it. I smoke a lot so it'd probably be my fault (even though we all have cancer) but I wouldn't want treatment wasted on me if it could help some young kid or someone who'd really benefit from it.
I would want to know how long I had left so I could get my affairs in order.
