[Serious]Actual gun shot survivors, whats the difference between how Hollywood portrays getting shot and what its actually like?

NOBODY on here has been shot? Thats hard to believe...I have seen the after of someone bein shot in the head-it looked like the movies to me at the time, but I think I was in shock-everything seemed so surreal:(

I was shot in my shoulder while on patrol on the base I was stationed at when I was shore patrol in the us navy. N it hurt like hell!

For me i been shot 4 times graced 3 time and they hurt worse the when i had a thourgh and though but being graced burns like a bi tch

So have you been shot a total of 7 times? Or were 3 of the 4 times grazes? And do tell the story or stories behind them....Im sure Im not the only one interested.

Just the four 3 of th 4 graces cant spelll frist time i was mmm about 4 i think me sister and i were out in the woods shes was 5 i was up in a tree and she was playing on the ground i saw the hunter in the distance and saw him raise his gun must of thought tas was a deer i lanched my self out of the tree to knock her down in doing soo i got gracesd arcoss my side from just bleow my ribs to my hip the next one my brother shot me when i was 6ish graing me but put one in my sisters hip ummm my brothers friend shot me when i was like 10 graced my shoulder and upper arm the i was 14 in a bigger town up hey partying with me frined when we were about to be attcked these four men planned to rape us i fought back got shot at some point it s still a bit blurry and mmm her elder sister was a nusre but surgeon inn triann so she took care of me

While on duty me n my partner answered a domestic disturbance call in the housing area on our base. when we got there an officer n his wife were on the front porch n he was waving a pistol around and when he saw us he shot at us n hit me in my shoulder.he was a competition shooter foe the navy.me n partner took him down b arrested him for assault on a law enticement officer with a deadly weapon. He was court martialed out of the navy n was given 5 years at levenworth.
