Elderly drivers (by xNOBODYx)
it's on the state ballot almost every year and gets voted down
My town provides transportation for them but some of them like my grandmother are to proudfull
Well, it is Florida. Most of the demographic that turns out to vote is probably elderly and that's why it keeps getting voted down.

I can understand how some want to keep their independance. But it's just not worth people getting killed.
Whether they keep on driving out of pride or need makes no difference once they've wrecked or caused an accident. Someone has to step in & force a change. My own dad is such a horrible driver that if he needs to go somewhere, my sons or myself will drive him there. He doesn't always like it, but when we park our vehicles in the way it makes it difficult for him to refuse our help. Sometimes we have to take the bull by the horns to make people accept unpleasant truths.
don't know how many there but here there are alot of elderly drivers. Glad to read your grandmother survived her horrfic experience.
we have a lot here and Ty it scary if he'd been going any faster he would have ran over her, it crushed here whole left side, broke both arms, it still makes me sick to my stomach thinking about it :(
@xlace75x: omg that just got me in tears thinking about mine. My Grandmother was killed instantly but she wasn't driving even walking to her car was bad for her.
