I belive that there should be an age where you should have to take a yearly drivers exam. both writen and road tests.

we had to take my grandmother's DL after she pulled out in front of a diesel truck and almost killed herself

damn glad she made it ok but that's a prime example. to bad not enough familys pay enough attention to do that for there loved ones.

@xlace75x:we have a lot of retirees down here from up north with no family around to help them out and watch out for them so they go on driving as usual putting themselves and others at risk

A lot of smaller communities have a free ride service for elderly or disabled people.
But some are too proud to use it.

@manondago2:alot of the alf's and churches do that here but yeah there's the pride and some just don't realize there diminished capacity
